Con fecha 27 de enero de 2014, CONICYT ha entregado el resultado del fallo del Concurso Fondecyt Regular 2014.
La Universidad del Desarrollo, como institución principal, se adjudicó 5 proyectos de un total de 18 propuestas presentadas (27,7%).
Además, la Facultad de Medicina de la UDD presentó 5 proyectos como institución asociada, de los cuales 3 fueron adjudicados.
A nivel nacional se presentaron 1.311 proyectos y fueron adjudicados 581 (44,3%).
La Dirección de Investigación felicita a los investigadores Rodrigo del Río, María Elisa Molina, Felipe Lecannelier, Miguel Ángel Fuentes, Carlos Rodríguez como investigadores principales; y a Annemarie Ziegler, Jaime Leppe y Jessica Martínez como co-investigadores por este importante logro, tanto para las facultades como para la Universidad.
